Lonac est revenu réaliser une nouvelle fresque presque au même endroit que celle qu’il avait peinte en 2017 (Le joueur de Banjo, malheureusement disparue sous l’isolation des bâtiments).
Along the Embankment (ou « Le long de la berge ») célèbre les longues promenades du dimanche au bord de la rivière de l’artiste avec son chien et ses amis proches, en direction du marché aux puces de Hrelić, en Croatie. Une sorte de rituel dominical…
« Le processus de création de cette pièce a été doux-amer pour moi, car j’avais la gorge serrée pendant tout ce temps, sachant que je devrais dire au revoir à mon chien bien-aimé Django dans quelques jours à mon retour. Merci à mon cher ami @bonkasica pour les longues discussions sur la relation d’amitié entre un être humain et un chien, et à quel point celui-ci peut être un ami cher. »

Lonac has returned to create a new mural almost in the same spot as the one he painted in 2017 (The Banjo Player, unfortunately lost under the building insulation).
Along the Embankment celebrates the artist’s long Sunday walks along the river with his dog and close friends, heading towards the Hrelić flea market in Croatia. A kind of Sunday ritual…
“The process of creating this piece was bittersweet for me, as I had a lump in my throat the entire time, knowing that I would have to say goodbye to my beloved dog Django in a few days upon my return. Thank you to my dear friend @bonkasica for the long conversations about the friendship between a human being and a dog, and how dear a friend one can be.”
