À propos de l'œuvre

Posée sur le mur d’une épicerie solidaire, Asaz One a souhaité traiter le sujet du don de soi par le bénévolat.
À l’instar des plantes dont les racines œuvrent ensemble en sous-sol pour faire éclore les fleurs, Corps de Racines est un remerciement aux bénévoles et une invitation à l’entraide.
Salifou, l’un des bénévoles de l’épicerie, a accepté d’être représenté sur la fresque, partageant ainsi sa bonne humeur et son sourire avec tous les passants, tous les jours !
Comme dans toutes les œuvres de Robin, le texte et son remplissage apparaissent tour à tour mais difficilement ensemble, comme pour nous dire qu’il faut toujours faire un effort pour réussir à tout voir, dans une globalité qui touche à la spiritualité.

Placed on the wall of a solidarity grocery store, Asaz One wanted to address the theme of self-giving through volunteering.
Like plants whose roots work together underground to make the flowers bloom, Corps de Racines is a tribute to volunteers and an invitation to mutual aid.
Salifou, one of the grocery store’s volunteers, agreed to be featured in the mural, thus sharing his good humour and smile with all passers-by, every day!
As in all of Robin’s works, the text and its filling appear alternately but rarely together, as if to tell us that we must always make an effort to see everything, in a totality that touches on spirituality.
